BSDMFR encourages all delegates to perform a lateral flow test prior to attending the conference. Proof of testing or results will not be required, this is purely as a courtesy to your colleagues  

Accreditation

This BSDMFR Scientific Meeting meets the educational criteria set by the General Dental Council for verifiable CPD.  Regulations mean that refreshment and lunch breaks cannot be counted toward the verifiable CPD hours. 

Booking terms and conditions

Where a fee is payable, full payment must be made prior to the date of the event. Once a booking is submitted and received by BSDMFR the booking constitutes a firm booking which can only be cancelled in accordance with our cancellation policy set out below, and is not transferrable. Bookings should made online at www.bsdmfr.org.uk

Cancellation policy

All cancellations must be received by email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or by post to BSDMFR, HGE Ltd, Hay Green Corner, Fishlake, Doncaster, DN7 5LA.  Receipt will be confirmed and at that point the place will be cancelled. 

Cancellations received 29 days or more prior to the event will be entitled to a 100% refund of any fee paid. Cancellations received between 15 days and 28 days (inclusive) prior to the event will receive a 75% refund. For cancellations received between 1 day and 14 days (inclusive) prior to the event, no refund will be given. Failure to attend the event on the day will constitute late cancellation and no refund will be given. Substitutions are welcome at any time.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the programme may change and the BSDMFR Scientific Programme Organisers reserve the right to cancel the event or alter the venue and/or speakers. BSDMFR is not responsible for any loss or damage as a result of a speaker substitution, alteration, cancellation, or postponement of the conference. 

Certificate of attendance

In accordance with GDC CPD guidelines a certificate will be provided in exchange for a completed evaluation form.  The evaluation form will be an online form and full guidance will be provided for access.

What we use the information for

BSDMFR (via Hay Green Education (HGE) Ltd) will use your contact details to facilitate your attendance of the BSDMFR event you registered for. We will email you with information you will need in advance of attending the event and any information you may need after the event.  Also, if you are not already a member, after the event we will contact you to invite you to join BSDMFR.

How we store the information

Your BSDMFR event registration details are stored on a cloud based database, and with ‘MailChimp’, a US based email service compliant with the UK GDPR. The event registration information on the BSDMFR website is stored on a server in Europe managed by ‘IONOS’ who are also compliant with UK GDPR. All data is password protected and encrypted at all three locations.  For online events, your name, email address and booking number will be uploaded to the meeting platform, (eg Zoom).

We do not keep paper records of your registration information. The event attendance list will be retained and password protected to be filed as a permanent record of your attendance of the event.

How long we will keep the information

We will keep your registration information for five years after the date of the event you attended. The event attendance list will be retained as a permanent record of your attendance of the event. If you do not attend the event you registered for we will delete your registration information immediately after the conference dates
